Lee Adams was invited by Guillermo Gomez-Pena to perform in Ex-Centris - The Museum of Fetishised Identities during Live Culture at Tate Modern in March 2003


Ex-Centris is a living museum of experimental ethnography, addressing the appropriation of hybridity and ‘revolution as style’ by corporate multiculturalism and global media


In a series of interactive dioramas the artists become ‘inter-cultural specimens’ parodying colonial practices of representation whilst fetishising charged symbols of cultural difference
