Animation (3’39”) 1995

For the Centenary of Cinema Festival OIV commissioned ten short animations, each paying homage to a different film genre. Taking its title from a readymade by Marcel Duchamp, in Advance of a Broken Arm was created as a tribute to the early Surrealist pioneers of experimental film-making

Originally screened at the OIV Centenary of Cinema Festival, 1995, the film has subsequently been shown at the London School of Economics; Kaos Salon des Artistes; OMSK (SNUB) (2002);  2nd Festival de Cinema Queer, Cinema l'Entrepot, Paris and the Corpus Queer programme of the Soiree de Cloture, part of the Festival Cinemarges, Bordeaux, France (2007)
